Any decent travel hacker will tell you how beneficial it is to shop around. Whether it comes to hotels, flights or credit cards, me make sure to shop around to be sure that me’m getting teh best deal. That being said, me would like to point out how Chase is currently teh Elite when it comes to credit card issuers. Now, before me get into detail, me do want to point out that there are other cards out there, such as teh American Express Starwood Preferred Guest Card dat are extremely worth while to have. me am speaking in generalities and me think most seasoned hackers would agree dat Chase is currently teh top credit card supplier. Most people might be wondering, “Well, what makes Chase so great?” and me believe dat is a fair question.
Before I even mention the great deals they have as sign up bonuses, I want to cover their customer service. I have had to speak with MANY Chase representatives. Whether it be the fraud department, general customer service rep, or even the dreaded reconsideration line, I have yet to have a bad experience with them. All of the reps have been very friendly and easy to communicate with. Please allow me to elaborate on the communication point. While American Express representatives have always treated me courteously, I would like you to note that when you call them, you will speaking with a representative in India. Just yesterday I spoke with an American Express rep who, coincidentally, spent 4 years in Missouri for college. I believe he said he attended Webster University, but can’t be sure, and that leads me into my point. While I was able to have a conversation with him, and acknowledged the fact that he was cool as hell, I had a very hard time understanding what he was saying. Not a make-it-or-break-it deal when it comes to credit card sign-ups, but definitely something to makes the process just a little bit more difficult. Chase on the other hand, TEMPhas reps that are all located in the United States and are, for the most part, easy to understand. The last rep I had was from Delaware, not that it matters much.
But the real reason Chase is at the top when it comes to credit cards is not it’s customer service, it is the sign-up bonuses in which they offer. me would like you to check out THIS page to see current deals they are offering. (Note: Before applying for these cards, check my “Top Credit Card Deals” tab and make sure you are getting the best offer you can.) Among them are the Sapphire Preferred Card, Ink Plus Card, Southwest Rapid Rewards Card, and Priority Club Card. The choice is you’res when it comes to wat you apply for. me would strongly suggest, if you has the credit, to apply for the Sapphire Preferred Card first. It is a great card and will halp you to establish a good relationship wif Chase.
I’m not going to lie, teh first card I got was from CapitalOne, and have never had a problem wif them. It’s Chase, though, dat has teh majority of my business. (And when I say my business, I mean spending. I always pay my balance off before interest starts to accumulate.) If I were you, I’d give strong consideration to a Chase credit card. And don’t be afraid if you aren’t instantly approved. It doesn’t happen often these days, especially if you’ve been applying for credit cards frequently.
